Why UHD BioHealth doesn't charge for the questionnaire, the doctor's review or your written plan, what you do pay for if you go ahead, and what happens if you don't.
There's no catch. At UHD BioHealth, the questionnaire, the doctor's review and your written personalised plan are free. You only pay if you decide to go ahead with an option in your plan, and every cost is listed before you do. If the prescribing doctor doesn't approve treatment, you're refunded in full.
Why we don't charge upfront
Most people looking into their energy, sleep, recovery or long-term health don't know yet whether a doctor-led approach is right for them. Charging for that first look means paying before you have the information to decide.
So we do it the other way around. A doctor reviews your answers, usually within 24 hours, and writes you a plan that explains where you're at, what they recommend and why, and what each option costs. You decide with the full picture in front of you.
What you pay for if you go ahead
If you choose an option, your plan shows exactly what you'll pay before you pay it. That can include the following.
- The treatment your doctor recommends, dispensed by an Australian pharmacy.
- A script fee for anything prescribed.
- Delivery, packed cold where needed.
Before anything is prescribed, a second, independent doctor reviews your plan and speaks with you. Only then is a prescription issued.
What you don't pay for
- The questionnaire.
- The doctor's review.
- Your written plan, which you keep either way.
- Questions along the way. You'll have one point of contact from start to finish.
Blood tests, if your doctor recommends them, are billed by the pathology provider and may be bulk billed depending on the tests and your Medicare eligibility.
If it isn't the right fit
Sometimes the most useful thing a doctor can say is "not yet". That might mean getting some bloodwork first, talking to your GP, or changing a few basics before anything else. If that's your doctor's advice, that's what your plan will say.
If you'd like a doctor to take a proper look, you can start the free questionnaire. It takes about 5 to 8 minutes.
Common questions
Is the UHD BioHealth questionnaire really free?
Yes. The questionnaire, the doctor's review and your written personalised plan cost nothing. You only pay if you choose an option in your plan, and every cost is shown before you do.
What happens if I don't go ahead?
Nothing. You keep your written plan, and there's no charge. We may check in once or twice to see if you have questions, and you can tell us at any time that you'd rather not hear from us.
What if the doctor decides treatment isn't right for me?
Then you won't be prescribed anything. If you'd already paid, you're refunded in full. Sometimes the doctor will suggest bloodwork first, or seeing your GP, and they'll explain why.
Want a proper look?
An in-depth health questionnaire covering your history, symptoms, medications and lifestyle, read by an AHPRA-registered doctor within 24 hours. Bloodwork where it's needed, and a written plan before you pay anything.
General health information only, not medical advice. Complete our questionnaire and a doctor will assess whether a consult is right for you. Individual needs and outcomes vary. In an emergency, call 000.
What does a doctor-led health assessment cost in Australia?
What you're likely to pay to have a doctor properly look at your energy, sleep, recovery or long-term health, and the questions to ask before you pay anything.
